Revolver

Reviewed and illustrated by Will Artingstall

Revolver is the story of a young boy named Sig Andersson, whose father has died outside in the bitter cold of the winter in Giron. It is based in the year 1910. In the first chapter it states he is in 68, Latitude North. In my opinion this a rather strange way in opening a novel. He has brought his father's body into a cabin north of the Arctic circle. It was bitterly cold and Sig is alone with the corpse of his father who had frozen to death only that morning after he fell through the ice on the lake. In the cabin where Sig has left his father to lie, a man by the name of Wolffe comes and states that he has business with his father. Stories are told….

This novel is confusing in places and quite hard to follow which I did not enjoy as I found it hard to read meaning I had to keep going back through the book and trying to found out what was occurring.

I would overall rate it 6 out of 10
