The Road of the Dead

Reviewed by Will Emery

All I can say is WOW! I have really enjoyed reading this book and I could never put it down. It does start off quite slow but when it gets going it goes at the speed of a formula one car and barely slows down again.

Ruben Ford’s sister is murdered in Dartmoor, hundreds of miles from his east London home. Ruben and his family want their sister’s body back but the police will not let them have it until they know who killed her. So Ruben and his older brother Cole travel to the remote village of Lycheway, to find out who killed their sister. But the Fords are caught up in a dark business and will have to escape from Henry Quentin and his gang of west-country thugs. They will get some help from some gypsy friends, but will this be enough to save their skins.

But will the Ford brothers pull through and find their sister’s killer, or be beaten up by Quentin’s gang?

Once again I will say this is really good book and the highlight for me is the bloodthirsty ending that cannot stop your heart from racing until you have turned the last page. I would give this book a good eight out of ten.

So what are you waiting for: go out and read this fantastic book otherwise you will be missing a lot.
