The Road of the Dead

Reviewed by Harry Burgess

What can I say? This book is fantastic. It has everything you could ever want apart from an incredibly slow start. When Cole and Ruben find out that their sister has been raped and killed they don’t know what to do. Their Mum wants to bury her body: but is this possible when it’s being used for a police investigation and hidden somewhere?

When Cole and Ruben arrive at the site where Rachel was found they come across one of her close friends, but was she really close, or was she trying to kill Rachel?

When more is found out things really get going. Most people don’t go around with guns killing and hitting people till severely hurt, but Cole is one of these people. When he finds out who’s involved nothing will stop him. When he finds his house they’re in for it. With about twenty armed men inside the building it would be tough, maybe too tough. Now it goes terribly wrong for Cole and Ruben. Ruben is taken away and Cole is sent a letter saying leave town and your brother lives, or chase after him and get killed. You’ll have to read the book to find out more.

I would highly rate this book as it has a huge variety and is very descriptive. I would rate this 9/10.
