What can I say...?
Not much really, other than ‘unexciting’ and ‘depressing’. This book doesn’t get
you going at the start and continues to drone on about David’s fate and all the
ways he could possibly come to his death.
This book also leaves you with some loose ends, un-tied
knots, for example why Agnes wanted the photographs, and her obsession with
David/Justin.
David is a rather dull character, and slightly odd with his imaginary dog. All
in all I don’t really want to read another Meg Rosoff book any time soon.
