Just in Case

Reviewed by Dennis Perry

In Just In Case a boy called David Case thinks that fate is out to get him. He then changes his name to Justin and allows a lot more people to enter his life with his increased confidence and a new name.

He then befriends a girl called Angela and goes to her photo gallery exhibition. As he runs from her gallery show of photos he collides with a woman and gets meningitis from her, nearly allowing Fate in his eyes to talk him into dying.

A boy called Charlie over a long period of time comes back and fourth from the hospital to see how he is doing

Later on in the book he meets an older girl who, over a period of time starts to develop feelings for at a shop. He meets another person called Peter Prince who encourages Justin Case (formerly David Case) to show the world his running talents.

Overall I would give this book 7.5/10. The reason I give seven point five out of ten and not perhaps ten is that I thought that the storyline could have been a bit more gripping.
