Beast

Reviewed by Kian Zeinali

I was amazingly excited about the thought of reading this book. The visit of Ally Kennen made it even more exciting!

I was reading steadily through, enjoying every word of the book ... until I found out the ‘Beast’ was a crocodile. I was shocked!

I was expecting a dinosaur or a massive half-dog, half-lizard. It wasn’t to be.

This completely changed my view of the book. I refused to turn any more pages. Up to this point I found the book very exciting and fun to read; but after the seeing of the word ‘crocodile’ it suddenly turned dingy and amazingly bleak.

I would advise this book for younger readers, as they would find a crocodile magnificent.
