I thought that this book was quite good. It wasn’t the best that I have ever read but over all I thought that it was a good read.
I thought that the story was boring but I liked the way she made it interesting by adding in funny bits like the bit with the pig.
I personally thought that Ally Kennen explained everything and left nothing to the imagination, and in some bits it worked but in other bits I would have liked to have had to use my imagination a bit more.
Beast is about a boy who is given a baby crocodile when he is little and now he is nearly an adult he has to look after the crocodile. He hides the Beast in a cage in a reservoir. But as the beast gets bigger, the cage gets weaker.
I think that book is quite good if you want a lazy day because it is easy to read, but it lacks in the excitement that some other books have. I think that it would have been better if she had been leading us on and had kept some information back and kept us guessing until the very end.
