Turbulence is about a girl called Clay, her brother Jamze who doesn’t do much except from listening to music, her sister Rosie with a very bad temper, her grandma who a bit like Clay is laid back, and her dad who spends most of his time in his studio watching old black and white cowboy movies.
It all starts when Clay invites her new colleagues at work around for tea. They suddenly become in the middle of a massive feud.
I think it isn’t a very good book though. It has a really slow start which I found hard to get into. This book is definitely not for boys, with a boring plot as well.
I give this book 3/10 and I don’t think Jan Mark should win the award.
