Framed

Reviewed by George Saunders

Framed is about a boy named Dylan and his life in a very slow and simple village called Manod. Dylan’s dad runs a garage which is their family business. It is failing as there are not many people in the village. There are also some strange people driving up the mountain of Manod carrying famous paintings: this gives Dylan an idea of how to save their family business.

This book has a good story but it takes a long time to get started and it lingers on irrelevant things that are of no importance to the book. When it does get started it is a very good read and the plot rolls out and is very unpredictable – so don’t give up on the book at first.

It does get better overall I would give this book six out of ten.
