Millions

Reviewed by Daniel Frost

The cover seems slightly boring and rather plain, but don’t be put off. This is a medium size book, that takes a little time to actually get going, but after around 70 pages where something miraculous happens to the main character Damian, the book becomes a lot more exciting as Damian and his brother Anthony are faced with something that many people only dream of.

For most people the thought to have practically anything they want would be exhilarating, but the boys find out this is not possible as they are not old enough to be doing what they want when they want.

The start does drag on a bit, but don’t let this put you off as many readers will enjoy this book, and I must agree with my fellow student Hugo Appleby, this book does seem to like to refer to saints a lot and after a good middle the book again sloped downhill to finish with yet another attempt to stick in a needless reference to a saint.
