Moose Flanagan lives with his family on Alcatraz Island, home to the infamous gangster Al Capone. The book is set in 1935 but you can only really tell this by the date printed on each chapter (or if you know about gangsters.)
The book talks about Moose’s problems at school. He finds it hard to fit in, living in a world famous prison. It also explains his problems with his sister Natalie, who has autism.
It is a good book and a real page turner. The ending could have been better done though. I would rate this book 8/10.
