Malorie Blackman was a really down-to-earth speaker. She expressed her feelings and talked about her childhood. She captured us in her ideas and exercises, and made us freely participate in her them.

Her ambitions were to be an English Teacher when she was young. She would have made a brilliant one.

We produced exceptional pieces of English and gave us some techniques to use when we write our own stories. She had definitely inspired and me and other pupils in the room.
