A Gathering Light (Jennifer Donnelly)

Reviewed by Andy Stoten

I found this book to be quite boring, especially at the beginning, although it did improve slightly at about one third of the way through. I thought it was quite a slow book, and it just seemed to drag on. I think there are many people out there who love this book, but unfortunately, I’m not one of them.

I am not a huge fan of murder mysteries, which is what the book is based on. It is a true story, although there are quite a few fictional characters in it. This book suits any age-group, in my opinion, but if you don’t like murder mysteries, and you like your books to be fast-paced, then it’s not really worth reading.
