Despite being a bit of a Terry Pratchett fan, which some may say influences my vote, I found myself attracted instantly to this darker fairytale. It has humour, a sort of twisted romance and some action, indeed it has everything you would want! The characters are all different, with their own features and mannerisms, and it all combines at the end to form a very, how can I put it, "diplomatic" ending.
